The Northern Housing Consortium required a brand refresh to better communicate the strong and professional nature of their organisation, as well as the views of the 96% of housing providers in the North of England they represent.
Key to this design was building on Northern Housing Consortium’s established identity. It utilises the four squares from the original logo but is ‘refreshed’ by simply adding a rectangle between the squares; this forms both a brickwork pattern and the letter ‘H’ to symbolise the housing element of the business.
Bricks are solid, reliable and provide the foundations on which to build upon – connotations we want NHC to be associated with. Combined with the brick texture and bold colours, the refreshed brand is instantly recognisable and reflective of the ever growing organisation!
