At Ynot we aim to ‘redefine the ordinary’ so when tasked with creating a beer mat designed to promote match tickets at Sunderland AFC, we got to thinking ‘how can we make a beer mat more than just a beer mat?’

We wanted to produce an item that people could play and interact with, something to make people take notice. That is when the idea of #SAFCPennyFootball was born. Penny football is a game which will appeal to people’s nostalgic side, a simple game, played with coins flicked from one side of the table to the other… And these beer mats double up as goals that can be used to play.
